BayFest at Kaneohe Bay

The Marine Corps base at Kaneohe Bay hosted a festival with rides, concerts and fireworks all weekend long. The Black Eyed Peas headlined the show last night but we're too cheap to fork over $35 a piece for the tickets. So instead we went this afternoon, where we caught the "Skate4life Quadram Skate Crew" live on the center stage. Picture a dozen teenagers from Utah dancing on roller skates in front of 40 spectators. I'm not sure we made the right decision, but the good news is Clara really enjoyed the show. : )

We also spent $6 so Clara could go down a big slide with her Daddy. She's a little daredevil at the park so we thought she'd enjoy it, but we got no smiles whatsoever. She definitely preferred gnawing on a chicken leg in the food tent!
