On August 4th, our little firecracker Evie turned four years old. This girl is feisty, confident, and full of energy, but she is also incredibly sweet and affectionate. Her strong and determined personality tests my patience on a daily basis, but I'm confident these same qualities will contribute to her success in life some day. She has an engineering mind like her daddy, with a knack for organization and keeping me on schedule. If I tell her we are doing something in five minutes, we best do it in five minutes or I will never hear the end of it. We are so thankful for the laughter and joy she brings to our home.
On her birthday, we had lots of family visiting: Nani, Fa, Uncle Kyle, and cousins Aida and Ella. We celebrated at home with tacos, strawberry cake, and chocolate ice cream at her request.
