Shorebreak

Right before Clara and I left on vacation, we spent a long morning on the North Shore as a family. I started this post then and then promptly forgot to finish it. Oops! None of our photos capture it, but the waves were really big that day -- the biggest we've seen yet this season. Clara loved watching them crash on the shore but she also wanted to dive in. She's yet to learn a healthy fear of the ocean! The waves came crashing up fast enough that we had to be very careful and couldn't let her play as much as she wanted. But as you can see, she still had fun, giggling and splashing the whole time.
