Evie has many wonderful qualities. She is sweet and joyful and loving. But when it comes to toughness, she has none. Bumping into a wall dissolves her into a fit of tears. Saying "no" to her causes a similarly dramatic reaction. And venturing out into cold temperatures should not be attempted at all. Last weekend the sun was shining and the temperatures were reasonable, so we bundled the girls warmly for a quick trip to the playground across the street. While Clara ran around chasing balls and laughing, Evie's mood quickly deteriorated. She went from happily going down the slide, to pouting with her blanket, to full on sobs in about ten minutes. Her tolerance for cold temperatures lasts about ten minutes, which means future park trips are on hold until June.

Sounds like Evie is constantly reminding you that the cold, rainy weather of the PNW is no substitute for Hawaiian sunshine!
