February Snapshots

Here are the most recent snapshots from our lives (via cell phone) over the last month.

Clara got a second pair of glasses, and these ones are red! She loves choosing which pair she'll wear each morning.

I've been taking Evie to story time at the library while Clara's at preschool. She loves it so much, but she exhausts me because she is the loudest, most active kid in class. When her favorite parts of story time are over (like bubbles and the parachute), she often dissolves into a desperate fit of tears and she cries, "more?! more?! more?!" relentlessly.

I went to Clara's preschool for her snack day, and after snack all the kids went to the gym for playtime. Clara shocked me by asking to try on the roller skates. She typically shies away from trying new things, especially ones that involve sports or anything active.

Both girls received a pair of the cutest pink sparkle Toms shoes from Liz and Nora. Clara is a huge fan. Here she is on her way to Spanish school one morning (complete with one of her Berenstein Bear books, which goes everywhere with her).

The girls went with Daddy for their monthly trip to watch him get his hair cut. The barber shop serves popcorn, one of their favorite snacks.

We typically go out to eat as a family on Thursday nights. Two weeks ago she tried chopsticks for the first time. She was a natural!

Clara and I made Daddy's favorite biscuits for his birthday. Here she is trying on her apron and then mixing the ingredients for me.
