After Big Bear, we drove down to Palm Springs for another four days of vacation. Palm Springs was also fun, but it was almost 110 degrees -- ouch! Definitely the warmest weather the girls had ever been in. Wanting to get out of the sweltering heat for a few hours, we went to the Children's Discovery Museum of the Desert. The museum has a tremendous number of different activities and stations for kids. Clara loved the animal hospital, Evie loved the grocery store, and they both loved painting the car with real blue paint. We highly recommend the museum, if anyone ever finds themselves in the area!
