Lots of people have asked us what we think of California so far. I think the resounding answer from all four of us is that we love it. We have a bigger house that fits our family far more comfortably. For the first time in three years, we've consistently had weekends together as a family -- something that never used to happen since Jordan worked Saturdays and I typically studied on Sundays. We've had plenty of time to explore the area and do fun family activities. We live 20 minutes from San Francisco, 5 minutes from the Oakland Zoo, and close to the beach and Napa Valley. And the weather! I'm still in shock that it's warm enough to wear shorts and dresses all the way into November. Here are some pictures from our first two months here.
