Jordan's been working at Safeway's corporate headquarters for five months now. He's in charge of managing the bacon and breakfast sausage category for the company. If the thought of his job brings to mind a "bringing home the bacon" joke, you are in good company. We hear it all the time. But he really does bring home a LOT of bacon -- the kind you eat. So it you ever come for a visit, you can help yourself to as much bacon or sausage as you'd like.
Every year Safeway puts on a huge fundraising gala in the fall. It's a fancy black tie event and this year it was held at Pier 48 in San Francisco and Kelly Clarkson was the entertainment. So we hired a babysitter (for the first time ever!) and dressed up in formal attire for the first time since high school. Here's a little then and now.
