This past weekend I met up with my friend Lisa to pick blackberries and raspberries with our kids. Picking berries with three toddlers was no easy feat, but all three of them had a blast. After picking lots of berries (most of which went into Evie's belly), we finished the day eating ice cream and watching the farm animals. Clara was so exhausted from all the activity that she fell asleep on the way home, something she hasn't done in months.
Michael showed Clara all of his favorite iphone apps. She was in awe, and still has no idea that mommy's phone can do all of the same things. We'll keep her in the dark for now.
Meanwhile, Evie ate her weight in berries. We were there over two hours and she ate almost the entire time.
Until Mommy took the berries away. She was eating everything I picked!
Luckily watching the animals restored her good mood.
