For a while now Jordan and I've been talking about taking the girls on a day trip to the Oregon Coast. Last Thursday we were packing the car after a Costco trip and Jordan made a casual comment that we should have gone to the beach instead. I looked at him and said, "why not right now?" I may have temporarily lost my mind because spontaneity is not one of my best qualities. But we rushed home, unloaded the groceries, and threw some snacks and a change of clothes in the car. Clara was thrilled by our impromptu beach trip, even though the Oregon coast is "not like the Hawaii beach." (Her words, not mine. But the girl knows what she's talking about.)

These are all good, but the one of Jordan with the girls is definitely frame-worthy! Looks like a fun trip, even if the Oregon beach requires long sleeves. : )
