This is the first weekend in well over a month that we haven't had a birthday party to attend. Two of the parties have been at a play center that has cars for the kids to drive. This happens to be Clara's favorite activity, but as you can see she's not terribly adept at driving the cars. She's typically going in the opposite direction as everyone else, completely unaware. Jordan and I have always found it charming when Clara does stuff like this, but it makes more sense now that we know she needs glasses.
One of the other birthday parties was for cousin Jace. At that party we discovered Evie's new trick of staring down at the ground when she's acting shy. Here she is giving Kyle the cold shoulder.
Until he offered juice, of course . . .
All of these parties have Clara VERY excited for her own birthday in just over a week. We are busy preparing for her special day!
