What We Do For Fun

A week or two ago we had a rare sunny day and Jordan was home from work. We always do our best to get outside when the sun is shining. Here are some snapshots from our admittedly unconventional family day:

We started by waiting for the garbage trucks to pick up our trash, a favorite activity around here.

Then the girls watched as Jordan sawed in half the 100-pound pumpkin we bought this year.

Then we jumped in the car and drove to Reed College where we did some people watching, drank hot chocolate, ate croissants, and stomped in the leaves.
