We became zoo members earlier this year, allowing us to spend a fair amount of time at the zoo this summer. Both girls are at an age where they really appreciate the animals so it's been especially fun to take them. The petting zoo is typically the girls' favorite spot. Last time we were there they got to pet a snake! Evie told us it was her favorite part, and even though that was well over a month ago, she still hasn't stopped talking about how the snake bit her. It did not actually bite her -- but she refuses to listen when I tell her that.
