A Parade and a Wedding

One of the great things about our neighborhood is that there are lots of family-oriented community activities throughout the year.  One of those activities is a parade of the Fourth of July.  (And yes, this happened almost two months ago, clearly we're quite behind on blogging.)  We helped the girls decorate our wagon with flags and decked them out in red, white and blue.  After walking through the parade, the girls got to tour a fire truck and eat hot dogs and lemonade.

Perhaps even better than the parade, that night we went to the wedding of a good friend of mine, Katie.  Clara was so excited that she got to meet a "real princess" and she's been wedding-obsessed ever since.  Somehow I managed to escape having my picture taken on our camera the day of the wedding, but I was honored to be a bridesmaid.
