Our little Evie celebrated her second birthday on Saturday. At two years old, she is full of energy, sensitive, emotional, and "fiesty" as her teacher at school tells us. She knows what she wants and doesn't hesitate to tell us about it. She is a complete mama's girl, but she also adores her sister and copies most everything Clara does. Recently she has started chattering incessantly, though it's nearly impossible to understand half of what she says. We had a small birthday party for Evie at our house on Sunday. It was nearly 100 degrees, so the kids spent most of their time playing with water guns and splashing in our kiddie pool. Thanks to everyone who celebrated with us!

Evie disappoints me that she has more composure and did not face plant the cake this year.
