Now that Clara has been wearing her glasses for the better part of a year, we rarely see her without them on. She even wears them to bed and in the shower. But this past weekend we went to a splash park and she asked to take them off in the water. That rarely happens, and I didn't make her put them on right away after we got out. It was so fun for me to see her little face without glasses that I wanted to snap some pictures of her. Although Clara's glasses have become a part of her and I would miss them if she didn't wear them anymore, it's fun to see her with a different look. My apologies for way too many photos -- I couldn't decide which ones were my favorite. (And I promise I wasn't making her pose, this was all her. She suddenly loves the camera.)

I love the last photo! She looks so adorable with her glasses that I would miss them too. I remember in 7th grade when it was discovered that my eyes were no longer 20/20, coming home and telling my mom very matter of factly, "I'm getting contacts." Never liked the way glasses looked on me. Thankfully I was able to get lasik a few years ago and it's been lovely not having to deal with contacts!
